About us

We are the only central London motion control studio with an in-house creative director Charlie Paul and specialist crew. We provide innovative creative solutions and compelling visuals to enhance story telling.

From concept, through to designing the shot we can re-imagine spaces, create abstract environments, match an existing set or location, in both real-size and model-size. We build and film reconstruction scenes and impressionist sequences all in our Kings Cross studio. We can also work with your archive stills and video materials to re-film and improve quality.

We work closely with film-makers and editors to create sequences that bridge seamlessly into their edit.

Our work features in film, documentary, opening titles, commercials and music videos.

We have 20 years experience filming with motion control. Many of the films we collaborate on have received recognition from BAFTA, Grierson, RTS awards and premiered in TIFF, SXSW, Tribeca, BFI LFF and Sundance.

Our roots are in film. With our approach every frame counts. Using precision tools and experienced production we create epic imaginations with cinematic proportions.

Titles

Itch studio has the tools and creative talent to blend technical precision using motion control, focus and lighting, with creative artistry. Our unique set-up enables us to craft Title sequences with meticulous timing and beautiful synchrony between visual landscape, credit placement and music, to make unique, cohesive and compelling Title sequences.

When we’re not collaborating with other filmmakers, we dedicate time to testing ideas, developing new methods, and refining innovative techniques. Using medical probes, telescopic lenses, vintage optics and film formats we love to create moods and visions that inspire opportunity in future collaborations.
