About us
We are Central London's only motion control studio with an in-house Creative Director, Charlie Paul, and specialist crew. Combining creative vision with technical precision, we develop innovative solutions that bring ambitious ideas to life and make distinctive, cinematic images to enhance storytelling.
From shot concept, to design, to art-dept build and film, all under one roof. We craft model scale buildings and landscapes, real-sized sets, re-imagine spaces and abstract environments, match existing locations, to produce compelling reconstruction scenes and impressionistic film sequences.
In addition we can treat original archive film and photographs to give them renewed depth and cinematic quality.
Collaboration is at the heart of our process. Working closely with directors, cinematographers and editors, we craft imagery that integrates seamlessly into the edit.
Our work features in film, documentary, opening titles, commercials and music videos, where inventive storytelling meets specialist craftsmanship.

We have 20 years experience filming with motion control. Many of the films we collaborate on have received recognition from BAFTA, Grierson, RTS awards and premiered in TIFF, SXSW, Tribeca, BFI LFF and Sundance.
Our roots are in film. With our approach every frame counts. Using precision tools and experienced production we create epic imaginations with cinematic proportions.
Itch studio has the tools and creative talent to blend technical precision using motion control, focus and lighting, with creative artistry. Our unique set-up enables us to craft Title sequences with meticulous timing and beautiful synchrony between visual landscape, credit placement and music, to make unique, cohesive and compelling Title sequences.

When we’re not collaborating with other filmmakers, we dedicate time to testing ideas, developing new methods, and refining innovative techniques. Using medical probes, telescopic lenses, vintage optics and film formats we love to create moods and visions that inspire opportunity in future collaborations.
